Timetabling: common questions

Can we run more than one timetable?

Yes. You can keep several named timetables, for example a daytime timetable and an evening or online one, and pick which to view or edit.

Does PupilDB build the timetable for us automatically?

No. You build the timetable yourself in a clear grid, and PupilDB stops you creating the same lesson twice in one slot. Drag-and-drop editing and clash detection are on our roadmap.

Can teachers change the timetable?

Teachers see the timetable read-only. Edit mode is for administrators, so the timetable only changes when someone responsible changes it.
