Your own lists
Absence reasons, local authorities, referral agencies, funding categories, allergies and more, each with a default.

Roles & permissions
Decide who can see what, module by module. Safeguarding stays with your DSL by default.

Your name, logo and colours
PupilDB shows your setting’s own name, logo and colours, on screen and on printed copies.

Only what you use
Behaviour, safeguarding, placements and the daily log are switched on only for the settings that use them.

Secure sign-in
Every user has their own sign-in, with password reset built in.

“View as” for support
Administrators can see PupilDB as another user sees it, to help them quickly.

Can we use “student” instead of “pupil”?
Not yet. Choosing your own terms, such as student or learner, and SEN, SEND or ALN, is on our roadmap.
Can our staff use PupilDB in Welsh or another language?
Yes, on request. PupilDB runs in UK English as standard, and we can set up the screens your staff use in Welsh or another language as part of getting you started. Tell us what you need in your demo.
Do we need an IT person to set PupilDB up?
No. PupilDB runs in your web browser, and administrators manage lists and users themselves. We’ll help you get started and talk you through bringing your existing records across.
